![]() ![]() Any help you could give would be appreciated.Ī little more information might help us figure out why you have no sound.Īre you sure you have the latest Flash Player version (check the Adobe download page)? By that I mean, if a bell should ring, I get static for the bell. All I know is that sound occurs when sound should occur, but it's only static. I have considered opening the back of the computer to see if the sound card is loose or if it is bad. I don't know if this is actually a problem with Flash Player, but I am trying to diagnose what's wrong. I have deleted Flash Player 10 and I have reinstalled 9. The last two steps were recommended by the help function on my computer. I still have to check the MIDI sound files to see if they are working. I have checked the Microsoft sounds loaded originally to see if they are functioning correctly. I have checked all the hardware to see if it is working correctly. I have checked all the drivers to see if they are working correctly or are configured correctly. These are the steps I have taken to determine the cause of the problem. The no sound problem began after I downloaded the absolute latest Flash Player. I have Windows XP and am using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
